No. We are not in competition with these programs. Actually, we vigorously promote these and other affiliate networks. Opportunex™ provides tools, software, strategies and a support network to help you succeed with affiliate marketing. We do not provide the products you sell or the mechanism for handling affiliate commissions. We simply provide the tools and resources you need to make it easy.

Yes. Anyone can join (18 years or older) opportunex™. The basic membership is completely free with no strings attached. The basic membership allows you to access the blogs, create a member profile, browse, rate, and review opportunities, engage in social networking, join groups and forums.

You must be at least 18 years old to join opportunex™ because (in the United States anyway) you have to be of “legal age” to enter into any binding contract. Most of the affiliate programs, if not all of them, require that you enter into a legally binding contract in order to promote or sell their goods or services. Therefore, we thought it prudent to limit membership for those who already meet this condition.

The one-time, initial set-up fee is $128.95. This includes the membership fee for your first month. The monthly membership fee is $29.95. There are no additional costs imposed by opportunex™.

However, some of the utilities that we integrated into the pre-built websites do require membership (i.e. AWeber – used for email marketing – costs $19.00 per month, but the first month is only $1.00)… all of these are optional and clearly defined. There may be other costs associated with optional add-ons. For example, you may wish to create a domain name for your website or blog; for which you will incur an additional annual fee. All such fees are in-line with costs you will find elsewhere.

It is easy to upgrade your account to the Premium Membership. You can upgrade at any time by going to the setting page and clicking “Upgrade to Premium”. Or, you can go to the sign-up page at any time and click “Upgrade to Premium”. All of the settings and information that you’ve entered under your basic membership will stay in tact.

There are a few simple questions you need to ask yourself: Am I happy with my current web site? How easy is it to update? Am I able to make changes myself? Does my website have a blog? Is my website monetized (have banner ads and such?) Is my site integrated with social media like facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter? Is my site optimized for search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing? Am I easily found on search engines like Google, what is my ranking? Do I utilize squeeze page(s) with an auto-responder? Am I deploying strategies that result in email list building? Am I happy with my hosting service? And, most importantly, am I happy with my results?

If you answered positively to most or all of these questions, then the opportunex™ Premium Membership with its “Wealth Builder Tools” may be a waste of time and money for you. However, you could still benefit greatly by joining as a basic member and participating in our social network. In fact, you may have much to offer to other members if you’ve got all of this working for you already.

No. When you sign-up as a Premium Member, an “Identity Site” is automatically created for you. This website is instantly accessible to the world at http://yourusername.opportunex.com so you do not “need” a domain name. Likewise, whenever you create a new web site, you will create a “site name” which will be available at http://yoursitename.opportunex.com. However, at any time if you wish to create a domain name for any of your websites, you can do that. Depending on the market you are going after you may want one, or more, domain names.

We wanted opportunex™ to be as open as possible without having to “screen” every member or putting too many restrictions on who can join or participate. Therefore, some non-paying members may be spammers or scammers. We definitely discourage this type of activity and hope that the “community” at large will be able to police itself. However, as long as the basic membership does not allow the posting of new opportunities or the creation of groups, damage from these interlopers is likely minimized.

The opportunities section is constantly growing. Any Premium Member can enter an opportunity. We do our best to discourage and weed-out any duplication, but we are not always successful. If you are involved in an opportunity and it is not listed you can add it yourself, if you are a Premium Member. If you are a basic member and you think that an opportunity should be listed and it is not, ask a Premium Member to add it for you or send us an email at admin@opportunex.com. Make sure to include all of the information about the opportunity that you want to appear in the listing. We reserve the right to refuse to list any opportunity that we deem inappropriate or incongruent with our policies or our “community standards”.

Yes. If you have ever uploaded a video or image from your computer to a web site and have filled-out a form online, then you have all of the basic requirements you need to make opportunex™ work for you. This is not to say that other skills like making videos, creating and editing graphics, good writing skills, ninja skills, nun chuck skills and others, wouldn’t enhance your experience and improve your results. But, simple facebook skills are all that’s required. Having a desire to learn, an appetite for success, and the ability to follow step-by-step instructions are always a plus.

We tried to make opportunex™ as easy to follow as possible. If you have an “Internet-ready” idea (such as an information product or a software download) you should be able to just sign-up and get to market rather quickly by following the step-by-step instructions. Other products or inventions may require a bit more “leg-work” on your part before you’re ready to send your idea off into the “Wild West” of the Internet. However, no matter where you’re at in your development cycle, getting a website and a blog established is easy and a good first step.

No. As long as you are at least 18 years of age and agree to the terms, you can promote opportunex™ and get paid for new Premium Memberships that have been referred by you. You also must have a PayPal account.

With any Premium Membership you can have as many as six separate web sites in any configuration. Maybe you want a website and a squeeze page dedicated to three separate products. Or, maybe you want one website, a membership site a blog and three separate squeeze pages for promotion. However you want to configure it, the answer is six websites. In the near future we will be releasing an “unlimited website” membership upgrade… but we have no need to that at this time.

No. Although we have created opportunex™ to minimize risk and maximize your chance of success, we cannot guarantee that this, or any other program, will work for you. Any business venture involves some risk. You should consider your options carefully before you get started in any business or program.

Well, first you’ll get a big “Congratulations!” from us. This is all that we could hope for any of our members. Next, you will be featured in a blog and honored on our front page. With that said, it is unlikely that you will outgrow our “platform” as it is based in WordPress (which handles millions of blogs world-wide, many of them very large and complex). Also, we are hosted with a very large and well establishes Internet provider and we have virtually unlimited capacity for growth.

If your bandwidth and server utilization ever “spikes” to such an extent that it threatens the well being of other sites hosted in our network, we will contact you and work something out. And, if you wish to move off our network entirely so that you can manage it on your own, we will be happy to provide you with all of the information and procedures you will need to accomplish this quickly and smoothly.
